The Amana brand is an American legacy that dates back to 1934, when George Foerstner of Amana, Iowa, set out to build a dependable beverage cooler. The company went on to introduce the walk-in cold storage locker and the Radarange — the first countertop microwave oven — before bringing that same craftsmanship to heating and cooling.
Today the same commitment to quality behind Amana brand home appliances goes into Amana brand furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps. The parent company invested over $400 million in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility just outside Houston, Texas, where the equipment we install is built.
